Dear Hope House Friends and Family,
We all know the story of Jesus calming the storm in Mark 4. A great storm threatened to sink the disciples. They panicked in fear and said to Jesus who was resting, “Don’t you care that we are perishing?” And he awoke and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, “Peace! Be still!” And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.”
Hope House wants to report that Jesus is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. Two weeks ago, tropical storm Franklin made a direct hit on the Dominican Republic. Your prayers and God’s kindness spared Hope House from expected damaging wind and heavy rains. This should not surprise us. How many times we have experienced the Lord calm the storm and bring peace on the inside of a precious Hope House child.
Thank you for praying for us and supporting the work of Hope House. We are so grateful for your support.
